FlareDNS is a passive security analysis tool designed for educational and professional audit purposes only. It does not perform any intrusive actions or scans. All data collected is publicly available through standard network requests (DNS, HTTPS). The user of this tool is responsible for ensuring that their use complies with local laws, terms of service, and acceptable use policies. The author assumes no liability for misuse.

Queried Domains: The domain names you submit for analysis.
Analysis Results: The public-facing data we retrieve about the queried domains (e.g., DNS records, SSL certificates). This information may be stored as a record history from your input.
IP Addresses: The IP addresses associated with the submitted domains, which are used for third-party geolocation lookups.

We do not collect personal usage data, analytics, or use cookies for user tracking purposes.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Service Operation: To fetch public records, generate analysis with third-party services (like Google Generative AI and ipinfo.io), and display the results to you.
Service Improvement: We use the queried domains and analysis results to improve our services, including enhancing our queries and the prompts sent to third-party AI models.
Record History: To build a historical record of domain analysis, which may be used in future features.

In a future version of our service, we may offer premium users the ability to opt out of this data collection. As of now, all data is collected as described.

To provide our Service, we share the information you provide with the following third-party services:

Google Generative AI: We send domain records and header information to Google's AI models to generate explanations and analysis.
ipinfo.io: We send IP addresses to ipinfo.io to retrieve geolocation data.
